Glenn Goldman
President and Chief Executive Officer
Goldman joined the company in 2001 with more than 15 years of experience in the financing, building and strategic positioning of nationwide consumer and commercial finance companies. Prior to becoming CEO, Goldman was a Founding Partner of G2, LLC, a boutique investment bank targeting the finance and technology sectors.
Prior to joining CAN, he was co-president of the Merchant Banking group at ContiFinancial Corporation, one of the largest private companies in the world .Goldman also covered banks and thrifts in the Money Markets and Capital Market Group at Merrill Lynch.
Goldman is currently vice chairman of Birch Family Services, an organization that operates eight schools and eight residences for children and adults with special needs. Since 1975, Birch Family Services has been providing educational, residential and family support programs that enable exceptional people to reach their highest potential.
Goldman was named Ernst and Young's 2009 CEO of the Year for Financial Services, Metro NY. He is a member of the Electronic Transaction Association and recently chaired its Research and Information Resources Committee. He serves on the editorial advisory boards of two leading industry publications, ISO&Agent and The Green Sheet.
Tom Burnside
Chief Operating Officer
Burnside has more than 20 years of experience in the merchant funding and credit card processing industries. He joined CAN in 2000 from the Hogan Services Division of First Data Corporation (FDC) where he was General Manager.
He previously held senior positions in FDC's Telecheck Division. While at Telecheck, he co-invented profile-based collectability models used in the check guarantee business of Telecheck, including the system and method granted Patent No. 7,664,687 by the U.S. Patent and Trade Office. Before that, Burnside was an entrepreneur in several small businesses.
Burnside is credited with the design, development and implementation of the Daily Remittance Model-based, proprietary risk scoring models used by Capital Access Network and its clients, which allow many small businesses traditionally under-served by financial institutions to obtain working capital. He is currently chair of the Electronic Transaction Association's Best Practices Committee.
Mark Lorimer
Chief Marketing Officer
Lorimer joined the company in 2006 from Alchemy Business Group, a business services and investment firm he founded, which focuses on business development and organizational alignment strategies.
Lorimer also served as CEO of Autobytel, Inc., taking the company public while amassing multiple awards and accolades. During his tenure, Lorimer led Autobytel to establishing and maintaining 60-70 percent market share against competitors such as Microsoft, Cendant and AutoNation.
Daniel DeMeo
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. DeMeo joined the company in 2010, following more than 9 years of concurrent experience as a C-level officer for 1st Financial Bank USA and JPMorgan & Co. In these positions, Mr. DeMeo was responsible for all finance and accounting activities including planning, investment, management, portfolio and product pricing and balance sheet management. Prior to 1st Financial, Mr. DeMeo was CFO of the Global Technology at JP Morgan Chase and prior to that, CFO of Chase consumer and small business credit card unit. Mr. DeMeo has extensive background in the financial services industry, having served as EVP, Citibank Universal Card Service, SVP of Marketing and Business Development at GE Capital and various accounting and finance executive positions at Citibank where he started his career. Mr. DeMeo has a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from New England College and an MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University.
Franck Fatras
Chief Technology Officer
Fatras joined the company in 2000 and brought more than 13 years experience in system and network architecture; building network infrastructure and applications for national and global use. He is responsible for directing information technology, information systems, information security and facilities. Under his leadership, AdvanceMe was awarded the American Business Association's Stevie Award in 2007 for Best MIS and IT Organization.
Fatras' previous engagements have included many diverse industries, including major brands like Citibank, Western Union International, Woodward-Clyde, Merck and AT&T.
Parris Sanz, Esq.
Chief Legal Officer
Sanz joined the company in 2004 with more than 11 years of experience as a corporate, securities and transactional attorney. Before joining AdvanceMe, he was a senior executive and General Counsel of a specialty pharmaceutical company, where he was responsible for all legal matters, including securities offerings, corporate transactions, patents/intellectual property and commercial agreements.
Previously, Sanz was an attorney in private practice at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in San Francisco and Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles, where he handled a wide variety of corporate, securities, transactional and commercial matters.
